metal drop music is composed entirely with sinewaves. The musical and formal process had to be developed entirely with the aid of a defined harmonic structure (proportion 8th root of five) and thematic material. The original intention was to acoustically present very rapid, complex groups of sounds made up of pointillistically articulated, individual sounds. These structures should posess a particular accidental (almost random) character, comparable to the sound of glass pearls or small stones falling on a metal surface. The contrast in the piece consists of long sounds as opposed to sound-points. All musical developments are based on these two extremes.
